Bush Hash meeting: Thursday 24th September 2009

1. Beer
Following the problem of beer running out during the circle on previous runs, we will be taking extra precautions from now on to try and prevent this from occurring again. However, we will allow limited/moderate drinking in the circle for those who return unexpectedly early from the run. The main supply of beer will be safely protected until the return of our runners.
2. Haberdasher
We hope to increase our rags stock very soon as we have a limited number of t-shirts etc available for our visitors.
3. Awards
We will be exploring the feasibility of new ideas for hare awards and bushmaster achievements within the next few weeks.
4. A-site Barbeque
We now have an idea of the food menu for the Barbeque and will examine prices etc in time to try out the idea on the next run.
5. Charlie Manson 50th Birthday Bash in November
Charlie Manson has put forward the idea of having some sort of party after his November birthday bash. This would preferably take place at a venue rather than the a-site.
6. Outstation run
We have three locations in mind for the next Bush outstation run in March 2010. Kanchanaburi was clearly a favourite but we also have Chantaburi and Korat/buriram as alternatives.
7. Finances
The finances are healthy but we recognise that we have had an unusual larger amount of sign-ups per run these last few months so we need to continue being cautious until we find successful ways to subsidize awards/a-site food etc.
