Last Bush Hash meeting: Thursday 20th August 2009

Present: Tampax, Mrs Head, F***ing Dog, Tadpole, Stinky Sloppy Seconds, King Yao Yao,
Queen Stella, Ball Ringer, GI Joe, Pissed Pole Dancer

16:00 hrs at Patrick's Belgian Restaurant, Soi Diana

1.
Beer Truck
The new beer truck proved a success and we will continue to use it from now on. We agreed
to bring along extra beer and water for future runs to accommodate any unexpected increase
in the number of runners.

2.
Haberdasher
We still have around 6 t-shirts available for visitors and virgins. Tadpole will push our
t-shirt man to print up more shirts, especially small sizes of the 100th run shirt suitable
for the ladies
. We will also make enquiries about obtaining shirts from our Malaysian friends
that should be available for a much cheaper price.

3. Special Runs
Pissed Pole Dancer will get together with Tadpole to try and design a suitable t-shirt for
Charlie Manson's 50th birthday bash in November.
Charlie hash offered to sponsor the a-site food for
that run.

4. Outstation Run
We all agreed that a Bush outstation run would be fun and we discussed a number of locations
that would be suitable for both pattaya and Bangkok members to attend. A suitable date for
the run would probably be around March 2010.

5. First Aid box
The Bush does not own a first aid box of any description at this time. Tadpole has offered to
obtain a kit in time for the next run in September.

6. A-site food sponsorship
Spaghetti Head will be sponsoring the a-site food for the September run. In order to avoid putting
off future hares, a number of us have agreed to sponsor a run even though we may not be a hare
for that run ie: Tampax, Tadpole, F***ing Dog, Pissed Pole Dancer and Stinky Sloppy Seconds with
Pissed Pole Dancer and Stinky Sloppy Seconds both handing over 1000 baht each in advance to our
hash cash GI Joe.

7. Norwegian Run
The norwegian run will now not take place in October but will likely take place in the new year.
This means that the October run is now free and GI Joe and Dizzy may possibly fill this slot.

8. Hareline

Queen Stella and Tadpole wish to hare a run in May 2010. This means that our hareline appears
to be very well populated for the coming months.

9. Future run duration
The question was brought up as to whether or not we should ask future hares to try and
limit
their runs to between 2 and 2 1/2 hours duration. We all agreed that the choice should be entirely
up to the hares. The Bush have always promoted an option for runners to complete one section only
if they so wish, so there should not be a problem now that we can transport runners back to the
a-site on the new beer truck.

10. Awards
We once again discussed the possibility of re-introducing awards at some time in the future, especially
for hares. We will carefully study our options before we make any final decision.

11. A-site food
Following the discussions regarding the a-site food at our last meeting, a number of people expressed
an interest in the possibility of the Bush actually selling a-site food at some time in the future. Apart
from the advantage of making money instead of losing it, there would probably also be a greater variety
of food available. As an experiment, it may be possible to try out this scheme in the near future in
addition to the free food we currently have available for a good number of upcoming runs.

12. Indo-China Hash in Burma
It was brought to our attention that in just two months time, there will be an international event
in Burma. We will try to obtain details for this event for our next run along with a list of Pattaya/Bangkok
hashers who will be attending.

13. Bush Auction
It was suggested that we should organise another Bush auction as a way of obtaining sponsorship and
funding. Past events have been a lot of fun and we would also be able to raise cash to help fund our
outstation run.

14. Finances
The bush finances are at present healthy.
