Bush Hash meeting: Thursday 14th February 2008

Minutes of the 2/12 Bush Hash Mismanagement Meeting

Present: Jellobutt, Seaman Stains, Festering Streaker,
GI Joe, R U Sure, Assoholic, VV, and Spag Head

16:00 to 17:00 at the Dao Cafe

1. Finances: GI Joe reported a closing total balance
of 59,371 baht. No outstanding bills or recievables.
No concerns were expressed by the group although
Jellobutt was asked to research the option of opening
up a bank account for the excess funds. The
hypothetical account would have three signatures from
long time hashers who are permanent members. Currently
the funds are all held in GI Joe's personal account.
He would rather at least have some of the funds be in
another account considering the sum is getting a bit
large now.

2. Rags: General discussion ended that nobody wanted
to create, sell or store rags at this time. Until a
haberdasher stands up to take the lead on rags, there
is no plan to make new hash rags.

3. AGM: Group agreed to hold this years AGM at the
Chok Chai #4 restaurant. VV knows the owner and will
organize the food. This is the restaurant where the
other Bush AGMs were held over the last 2 years. We
agreed to a budget of 5,000 baht  for a buffet feeding
50 people (budget can be raised if more people express
desire to come than 50). Each hasher attending the
buffet will be charged 100 baht EXCEPT cracks and kids
eat free. The hash will provide beer from the coolers.
Festering Streaker will top off the cooler to expect
large sport drinking that evening.

Seaman Stains and S.Swallows will hare the AGM
(Jellobutt is the hare in March as was "released" from
doing a back to back hare).

4. SongKran: It was brought to our attention by
Tickler that the Bush April hash may have a conflict
with Bangkok Songkran. Nobody at the meeting cared and
agreed that we will not change the bush hash date for
April.

5. New Big Bucket:
The group agreed to purchase a new
large size bucket for the circle. Stains agreed to
bring the bucket in his private transport and F.S.
will provide a bit more ice than normal to accomodate
the larger density bucket.

6. Brewmaster: It was agreed that F.S. and Dizzy may
carry more softies in their truck and top off into the
ice cooler if needed. Currently F.S. reported the
softies are a big hit and he fears that one hash he
may run dry if he does not purchase a bit more. No
problem.

7. Next co-GMs: Discussion focused on names. Tickler
was accepted to the group to represent the Bangkok
contigency. Tickler noted (at the last hash run) that
he "tentatively" agreed. The Pattaya representative is
still waiting confirmation before disclosure.

8. Further Sport Drinking commenced at 17:05 in the
Dao Bar where Valentine food was presented a rounds
were dispersed.
