Misdirection's to the A-site:

From Bangkok:
Head out of town on the Motorway in the direction of Chonburi Province. Zero your odometer at the second toll booth. At 10.5 km, the road forks.  Follow the left fork sign posted Pattaya and Rayong. At 22.5 km, turn left at the Khao Kheow Open Zoo exit. At 24.3 km, go straight towards Khao Kheow Country Club. At 26.2 km, the road forks.  Turn right (not left into Khao Kheow Country Club. At 27.8 km, turn right and park on the dam.  Watch out for the concrete columns hidden in the grass.

From Pattaya:
Head out of town on Sukhumvit Road going north. Turn right at highway 36 heading for Rayong. Turn left at highway 7 towards Bangkok. Exit at the Khao Kheow Open Zoo exit (after approximately 27km), u-turn and cross the bridge over highway 7 and zero your odemeter.

After 1.8km (blue sign for Khao Kheow Country club), go straight towards Khao Kheow Country Club. After 1.9km, the road forks (blue sign for Pong Din Dam Reservoir Road).  Turn right (not left into Khao Kheow Country Club. After 1.6 km the road bends to the left, turn right and park on the dam.  Watch out for the concrete columns hidden in the grass.
